Adam's Role: Responsible for developing and implementing engineering systems and standards to support the organization. Leading and mentoring teams focused on optimizing manufacturing processes and providing technical support.
Experience: A lifelong engineer and problem solver, I developed a passion for engineering at an early age through hobbies like building model airplanes and rockets. My academic background includes studies in mathematics, sciences, and technology, with two years of college toward an Engineering and Mathematics degree.
While in school, I worked part-time at an engineering company, compiling bids for government aerospace contracts. This role led to a full-time position in manufacturing, providing hands-on experience as a machinist. In 2008, I joined B&B as an Engineering Assistant and steadily advanced through engineering roles, becoming a Manufacturing Engineer. In 2023, I assumed leadership and system development responsibilities for the Engineering department, transitioning into my current role as Engineering Manager in 2024.
Achieving Excellence: I believe learning extends beyond formal education—true growth comes from curiosity, resourcefulness, and continuous improvement. While it's important to be content, I strive never to be fully satisfied, always seeking better ways to achieve results. I embrace creative problem-solving, viewing challenges from multiple perspectives, and stepping outside my comfort zone to drive innovation.
Respect for people is at the core of my leadership philosophy. I value those who invest their time in mentoring others and believe in fostering a culture of constructive feedback. Every failure presents an opportunity to learn, improve, and move forward.
Likes: I enjoy outdoor adventures with my family, mountain biking, astronomy, and exploring advancements in computers and technology.
